*Monroe James LaCaze, 60, of Pitkin, died at 6:20 a.m. at his residence Friday. He was a past master of Masonic Lodge 338 F&AM of Pitkin, a member of Oakdale Chapter 71 Royal Arch, Oakdale Council No. 25, Rhodes Commandery of Leesville and a past patron of Corona Chatper No. 10 Order of the Eastern Star of Pitkin.

Funeral services will be announced by Ardoin funeral home of Oakdale. He is survived by his widow of Pitkin; three sons, Warrant Officer S. C. LaCaze of Fort Bliss, Texas, J .L. LaCaze of Elizabeth and Robert LaCaze of Pitkin; five daughters, Mrs. Ernestine Barrington and Mrs. Caroline Gill both of DeRidder, Mrs. Catherine Thompson of Pitkin, Mrs. Charline Doxey of Elizabeth and Mrs. Darlene Scarber of Fort Stewart Georgia; six brothers, John La- Caze of Minden, Volly LaCaze of Pasadena, Texas, Kirk LaCaze of Hobbs, New Mexico, Ivy and Sinnie LaCaze, both of Pitkin, Leroy LaCaze of Glenmora; two sisters, Mrs. Alma Martin of Bridge City, Texas, and Mrs. Anna Belle Clarke of Vidor, Texas; 15 grandchildren.
