The funeral was held at the Berea Church at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 11, the Rev. Donald Cowan Officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lela Allen Hankins; his father and mother , Mr. and Mrs. James Webb Hankins: a brother, James R. Hankins two sisters Misses Mattie Lee and Elizabeth Hankins; and five children.
Though Woodrow was originally buried at Berea Cemetery his youngest son later had his remains transeferrred to Maple Grove Cemetery probably somewhere between 1992 and 2005.
