Green A. Cross, age 56, died at his home in Kilmichael, on Monday, November 26, after several days’ illness with pneumonia. Funeral services were held at Hebron Baptist church Tuesday, with the Rev. A. T. Price, officiating. Interment was in Hebron cemetery with Winona Undertaking Co. in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Cross was born in Attala County, and was married to Miss Beulah Kennedy in 1899. He was a member of the Hebron Baptist church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. App Cross; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Dell Boatman, Miss Myrtle Cross and Miss Ollie Nell Cross, of Kilmichael; one son, Arvell Cross, also of Kilmichael.
