Mrs. Alma C. Persons
Mrs. Alma C. Persons, widow of the late James T. Persons, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frederick Loeblein, 1403 Cass street at 5 o'clock Wednesday morning of apoplexy, aged 71 years. Alma Flint was born in Chicago, Ill., March 30. 1849. The same year her parents moved to Flint, Mich., where she grew to womanhood and was married to Mr. Persons in 1871. Shortly after marriage they settled on a farm in Maple Grove township where they lived until 1910 when they retired from farming and bought a home in Montrose. Mr. Persons died there March 18, 1918. Since then she has resided with her children. She was a member of the Woman's Relief Corps of Montrose. She leaves 3 sons and one daughter, Mrs. Fred K. Loeblein at Saginaw, George E.; Labra and Charles F. all of Maple Grove township.
