Lapel, Oct. 24 --- Funeral services for Lee Stottlemyer, age 58, who died Tuesday at 5:30 p.m at the family home here following a long illness, will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. at the Lapel U.B. Church. Rev. J.C. Shrigley, of Veedersburg, will have charge. Military rites will be conducted by the V.F.W., of which Mr. Stottlemyer was a member. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery.
Mr. Stottlemyer is survived by his widow, Eva; a step-son, Chloe Sylvester; three brothers, Parker, Harry, and Richard, all of Lapel; two sisters, Mrs. Ross Moore and Mrs. Ralph Presser, both of Lapel; two grand-children and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Stottlemyer was a veteran of the First World War and had served overseas many months. He was a former employee of the Sterling Glass Company.
