Anita Valdez Aguayo, 72, of Coachella, CA, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2007 in Perris, CA due to long term illness. She was born in Three River, TX to Luis Valdez and Francisca Medina. Anita started her career as a Nurse's Assistant at Valley Memorial Hospital in the early 1960's. After moving to the Coachella Valley, she continued her career at JFK Memorial Hospital as a Pediatric Nurses Assistant from 1973 - 1997. She was an active missionary at Del Valle at Our Lady Of Soledad in Coachella, CA. Remembered and loved through the hearts of her loving husband, Felix Aguayo; her brother, Romaldo Valdez of Sanderson, TX; and her sister, Modesta Torres of Salinas, She is also survived by her 12 daughters, Rosa Acosta of Chula Vista, Martha Valdivia of San Marcos, Bertha Garcia of North Shore, Antonia Aguayo-Rodriguez of Indio, Irma Munoz of Coachella, Melinda Aguayo of Indio, Teresa Calderon of Coachella, Barbara Aguayo of Indio, Rachel Aguayo of Cathedral City, Yolanda Aguayo-Maciel of Palm Desert, Amelia Aguayo of Desert Hot Springs, Maribel Barnes of Yucca Valley, they will always remember their mother as a caring person who touched people's hearts until her last days. Her 38 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren will cherish each individual loving memory they had with her.
