Walter Helton Leverette, 92, died Tuesday, October 16, 2007. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home with the Rev. Roy Kittle officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Methodist Church Cemetery.

Survivors include his son, Freddy Leverette (Brenda) of Ivey; a daughter Carolyn Searcy (Larry) of Milledgeville; sister Irene Leverette Adams of Sandersville; two grandchildren; Vickey Rainey of Milledgeville, and Vonnie Cesar (Brian) of Peachtree City; three great-grandchildren Joey and Patrick Rainey both of Eatonton and Emily Cesar of Peachtree City and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at Moores Funeral Home.
