He was born in Johnstown, Jackson County, Arkansas on January 10, 1931 the son of William Newton Sr and Nora (Rutherford) Wilson.
He married Helen Going on January 10, 1953 in Hickory Grove, Jackson County, Arkanas.
Mr. Wilson was a foreman for Southern Cotten Oil and ADM Oil Mill, and was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Clay W Wilson.
He is also survived by three brothers and three sisters.
