It is with the saddest of hearts, but with faith of life everlasting in our Lord Jesus Christ, that we announce the passing of Brad Allen Medlin. Brad and his brother Chad were born on April 14, 1970, to Molly and Kenneth Medlin in Tyler, Texas.

Brad is preceded in death by his mother Molly, his older brother Scott, and his twin brother Chad. To give comfort to all of us, at this sad time, may we remember these words of John Taylor:

"While we are mourning the loss of our friends, others are rejoicing to meet them behind the veil."

Brad is survived by his father, Kenneth Medlin of Tyler; one niece, Edie Michele Medlin; and several aunts and uncles.

The family asks that that in lieu of flowers or donations that you only remember Brad in your hearts and your prayers. The family received visitors at Stewart Family Funeral Home at 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway in Tyler on Thursday, July 20, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Burial service will be at 10 a.m Friday in the Red Springs Cemetery, located on Texas State Highway 14 in Red Springs. The graveside service will be conducted by Rev. Marvin Gardner under the caring direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home.
Obituary if you'd like to add it.

As sadness washes over all of us, may we be comforted by the words of St. Peter of Clairvoy when he said:

"At the news of his death … My tears flowed uncontrollably ... but that was all right, because they made a pillow on which my heart was to rest …"

May Brad rest in peace with his brothers and mother. May Almighty God bless Brad now and his blessings remain with him and Kenneth forever.
