Ernest Albert King was the youngest son Of Miles Morgan King and his 3rd wife, Sarah Ann (Lawley) King. He was 5 years old when his father died. He married Ophelia Laxson 24 Dec 1904. They had 9 children. His wife died a few months after their youngest daughter Eula Mae was born in Corsicana, Texas. After her death he placed his youngest children in the State Home (Corsicana, Tx.) He and his two oldest sons moved to Houston, Tx. The 3rd oldest son moved out West. Eula Mae, was adopted by Dr and Mrs Wade D Fountain of Corsicana, Tx. He worked on the City of Houston "railroad". He died of a Cerebral Hemorrhage.
He is buried at the "King Cemetery" south of Thornton, Texas on farm land his Father (Miles Morgan King) donated. He is next to his wife, Ophelia Carter (Laxson) and son, Ernest Ezell. His parents are located very close to him; within a fenced area.
