|Birth: ||Jun. 20, 1940|
|Death: ||Dec. 25, 2006|
Born to Carl Edgar Williams & Gracie B. Stone, Wayne was married at least two different times in his life. His first wife, and the woman whom he had two sons by, was Marjorie Eakins.
Wayne served in the Armed Forces during the 1950s. He also drove a semi-tractor trailer for fifteen years and after his retirement, he lived on the river off Weinbach Ave. in Evansville, Indiana.
Uncle Wayne was diagnosed with lung & throat cancer on August 12, 2005. After two rounds of double radiation & double chemotherapy, Wayne went home to be with the Lord at 8:30pm on December 25, 2006. I was with him when he drew his final breath and felt his heart beat it's final beat as I placed my hand on his chest. For a man as onery as this old stinker was, and for every wrong thing everyone thought he had done in his life, he did not deserve to die alone - and he wasn't. We had promised to watch the Christmas episode of "Deal or No Deal" together that evening, as it featured a gentleman from the town of Santa Claus, IN (which isn't too far from here). Wayne, unfortunately, had lost consciousness several hours before & wouldn't return to us.. He flew home during a commercial break.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents & a brother, Douglas. He was survived by one sister, Mildred Pfingston of Tacoma, Washington and one brother, Donnie Williams, of Bardstown, Kentucky. He was also survived by his two sons, Alan & Calvin Williams. Their last known whereabouts were somewhere in Montana.

Note: Wayne wished to be cremated, but circumstances prevented this. He is buried next to my grandmother & aunt. He does not have a headstone. His last request was to not have an obituary published in the local newspaper.
