I believe at this point the parents are Jonathan Stafford who died 1821 and Phebe Manchester. For the following reasons,
1) 1850 Census Morrison Stafford is living next to Angeline Stafford McKnutt.
2) 1865 Census Laura J. Stafford is living with Angeline Mcknutt and in 1850 Laura J. Stafford is the daughter of Morris Stafford.
3) Probate of Susan Stafford dated 1892 Wayne Co., NY lists Angeline Mcnutt as the daughter of Jonathan Stafford and who was married to Phebe Manchester.
4)Morris Stafford would not have been listed on the Susan Stafford Probate because he died in 1872.
