Willard was the son of Frank and Ida Berger Abbott. He was born in Des Moines, Iowa. He married Lorna Marie Meyer on February 12, 1942 in Tumwater, Washington. He served in the Air Force in World War 11.
He is survived by wife and two daughters; Nancy and Bonnie (Otis) Stelling.
He was a brother to Leona (Jack) Glover, Marguerite Neese, Evelyn (Timothy) Roberts, Mary (Duane) Oberlin; brothers:
Clarence, Harry, Raymond, and Russell. One brother was killed in action July 24, 1942, Howard.
