Margaret Ann White, 20, of Atlanta and formerly Valdosta, died on Monday, April 9, 2007. Born in Dublin, GA, to Robert A. White and Susan K. McDonald, she grew up in Valdosta before moving to Atlanta in 2002. The granddaughter of Ernest and Marjorie McDonald of Valdosta and Raney and the late Don White of Cecil and formerly of Valdosta, Margaret Ann was a graduate of Lakeside High School in Atlanta. She was attending Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and Georgia State University. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Valdosta.

Survivors include her mother, Susan K. McDonald of Atlanta; her father and stepmother, Robert A. and Pam White of Greensboro, NC; her brother, Alexander McDonald White of Athens, GA; her stepsisters, Stephanie and Amanda Garrett of Atlanta; her stepbrother and sister-in-law, Wade and Brittnay Garrett of Monroe; her grandmother, Raney White of Cecil, GA; her grandparents, Ernest and Marjorie McDonald of Valdosta; and so many loving aunts and uncles, and cousins including Justin Northcutt, Mark Northcutt, Ryan Edmondson, Sarah Edmondson, James McDonald, Marie McDonald, Alden McDonald, Harrison Irby, Wes Staley, Kenneth Staley, Logan White and Lael White and many friends.

Services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, April 13, 2007 at First Baptist Church with Reverend Mac Weaver and Reverend Charlie Scarbrough officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Methodist Church Cemetery in Hahira. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Thursday at the Carson McLane Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lowndes County Childrens Advocacy Center or to the American Diabetes Association.
