Nannie attended and graduated from Dayton Soldier;s Orphans School in Dayton, PA and became a teacher. In 1890 she married OB Terwilliger and had 6 children, 4 of whom grew to adulthood (Iva, Floyd, Dora and Burton). The three older children also became teachers. Nannie died of cancer when she was 50.
