Born November 1851 (his mother had him at sea while coming to the United States from Ireland)

Died at Barnes Hospital in Washington D. C.

Enlisted on 28 October 1872 into the 7th U. S. Cavalry

He was a private under the command of Edward Settle Godfrey at the Battle of the Little Big Horn, Company G. So action on the hilltop (Reno Hill) during the fight.

Admitted to the Soldiers Home in Washington D.C. on 19 August 1893.
