MRS. LARKIN ENLISTED AND JOINED THE SERVICE AS A MEMBER OF THE WOMEN'S ARMY CORPS ON SEPTEMBER 1, 1943. SHE WAS STATIONED AT COCHRAN FIELD, GEORGIA. SERVED AS A COOK WITH THE 1325TH STATION COMPLEMENT UNIT. EARNED THE AMERICAN THEATER RIBBON, THE WOMEN'S ARMY AUXILIARY CORPS SERVICE RIBBON, THE GOOD CONDUCT MEDAL AND THE WWII VICTORY MEDAL. WAS HONORABLY DISCHARGED AS A CORPORAL ON DECEMBER 23, 1945.
