• Josephine "Josette" Laframboise was the daughter of Joseph and Madeline
Laframboise. In 1817, Josette married Benjamin Kendrick Pierce, older
brother of Franklin Pierce, 14th President of United States. Josette and
Benjamin Pierce had two children, daughter, Harriet Josephine and son,
Benjamin Langdon.
Josephine "Josette" Laframboise Pierce died due to complications
following the birth of their son on November 20th 1820; with the son
dying several days later.
