Mrs. Edna M. Claunch Carpenter, age 60, Louisville, died Monday, January 16, 1995 at the University of Lousville hospital. Born April 12, 1934 in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Elvin and Martha Logue Claunch. She was retired from South Central Bell and Rockford Manor Nursing Home in Louisville. She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Greater Louisville and the wife of Warren Carpenter. Survivors, beside her husband, include: a son, Michael Warren Carpenter, Louisville; one sister, Imogene Caldwell, Campbellsville. She was preceded in death by two sons, Gary Keith Carpenter and Larry Warren Carpenter. Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 18 at the Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Bowden and Bro. Bobby Logue officiating. Burial was in Deep Creek Cemetery.
