Mildred Lorene Fariss went home to be with the Lord on September 17, 2007. She was born on August 11, 1931 to Cephus and Mary (Glass) Jackson in Marshall, Arkansas.
She is preceded in death by her husband Wessie, infant son, two brothers Buddy and EJ, and sister Donna.
Survivors include daughters: Carolyn Gatlin of Harrison, Randy Arthur of Marshall, Janet Blair of Vilonia, Tammy Rhein of Stuttgart, two sons: Kenneth Fariss and Larry Fariss both of Marshall, brothers Cephus Jackson Jr, of California, Missouri, and Bill of Cabool, Missouri, sisters: Rosetta, Marie, Marlene, Hildred, and Judy, sixteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-gandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday September 19, 2007 from 6—8 pm at Roller-Coffman Chapel.
Service will be Thursday September 20, 2007 at 2:00 pm at the Marshall Community Church in Marshall with Donnie Chisum officiating. Pallbearers: James Fariss, Kenny Fariss, Robbie Alexander, Adrain Alexander, Joseph McGowen, Josh Ireland, Matthew Ireland, Dr. Brian Blair, David Ragland, Jonathan Arthur.
Burial will be in the Grandview Cemetery by Roller-Coffman Funeral Home.
