Ruth Dorsey was born in Tazewell County Dec. 15, 1912, a daughter of John and Eliza Pullum Dorsey.
Surviving are two sons, Larry (and Helen)and Danny (and Linda); one daughter, Beverly (and Robert) Parrott; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters.
