"Bud" was the son of William W. CALL & Nancy CALL. He married four times & had eighteen children with his first two wives.

Wife #1: Nancy Elizabeth Foster, born about 1852, died about 1891. Married 22 Jan 1868. Nancy is the mother of Laura Cornelia, Nathaniel, John, Lilly, Hugh Montgomery, William, Limbers, Mary Elizabeth, Avery Durant, Isaac Slater, Lucretia Elizabeth, & Olin Leonard.
Wife #2: Almedia Williams, 1875-1907. Married 23 Jan 1891. Almedia is the mother of Della Ellen, Delanie, Agatha, Paul, Daniel & Annie Mae.
Wife #3: Lucy Ellen Combs, 1863-1917, married 25 Jan 1910.
Wife #4: Delphia Louisiana Porter, 1860-1942. Married 18 Feb 1927.

My father told me that Grandpa Call was injured quite badly when he was young. He had both legs broken when a horse-drawn wagon ran over him. He pulled himself around on his knees. If you look at the photo from his headstone you'll notice the two canes and the knees worn out on his pants.
