Funeral for Ella Eugenia Drane, 92, of Moulton will be Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Aldridge Grove Church of Christ with Brother Jim Bryant officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing.
Burial will be in Aldridge Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Drane, who Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007, at her residence, was born Aug. 28, 1915. She retired as a seamstress and farmer. Mrs. Drane was a member of Aldridge Grove Church of Christ. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and gardening.. Her prize possession was her family. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ocie Thrasher and Clyde Drane; and two granddaughters.
Survivors include seven sons, Raymond Thrasher and his wife, Nell, of Moulton, Thomas Thrasher and his wife, Francine, of Houston, Coy Thrasher and his wife, Sue, of Moulton, Ocie E. Thrasher and his wife, Diana, of Moulton, Carl Drane of Moulton, Tommy Drane of Moulton, and Henry Drane and his wife, Connie, of Hartselle; two daughters, Joyce Mitchell and her husband, Kenneth, of Russellville, and Juanita Webb of Moulton; 20 grand-children; 31 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
