He was a member of the Painters union, local 90.
His death followed a lengthy illness.
Surviving are one sister, Miss Mary Salmon; a cousin, Mrs. Nellie Adams, with whom he resided; and four nieces.
Funeral services were held at the St. Joseph's church.
Burial was in Calvary cemetery.
