Hulda Katherine McNeil was the wife of William Hubbard McNeil. She was the daughter of William C. and Elizabeth Melton Kennedy, granddaughter of Dempsey and Nancy Whitehead Kennedy, and great granddaughter of Richard and Elizabeth Chavers Kennedy. Parents, grand parents, and greatgrandmother are all buried in the Old Wildfork Indian Cemetery now known as Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery in Escambia County, Alabama. Her sisters and brothers were Mollie Kennedy Tippins, Dempsey C. Kennedy, Elsie Kennedy (1892-1892), William Hubert Kennedy (1883-1884), George Kennedy, William Earl Kennedy, Annie Kennedy, Nannie Kennedy Chavers, Mattie Kennedy Nowling, Marvin Elzie Kennedy, Barney Kennedy, and Rosa Kennedy. Richard Kennedy is listed on the Indian roster in Atmore, Alabama. It is the only national recognized Indian Tribe in the state. Elizabeth Chavers Kennedy is also listed on the U.S. Census as Indian.
