Goldie E. (Wand) Taylor, 93, died Monday, Oct. 2, 2000, at Manor Care Health Services. She was a resident of Indianapolis. She was born Sept. 6, 1907, in Woodbury, Ky. Her parents were Claude and Myrtle (Cook) Wand. She married Spencer G. Taylor on Nov. 22, 1925, in Indianapolis. He preceded her in death Jan. 29, 1978.
Survivors include a sister, Phyllis F. Smith of Cloverdale; four grandchildren, Kathy Jo Patterson, Marcia J. Wallace, Tim J. Taylor and Mark J. Taylor, all of Indianapolis; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Joel T. Taylor; a daughter, Violet P. Graves; four brothers; and a sister.
She was a homemaker and a member of Hansing Park Christian Church.
Services were entrusted to Singleton Community Mortuary of Indianapolis, Indiana.
