Inez LaVern Barlow Frye, 89, passed away on April 23, 2005 at the Brigham City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born to Jesse and Annie Paskett Barlow in Etna, Utah (Grouse Creek Ward) in a log cabin on January 27, 1916. She was the youngest of nine children. She moved from Etna, UT to Grouse Creek, UT when she was 6 years old where she attended school in. She loved living on the ranch in Grouse Creek. She especially loved the wild and farm animals. She moved to Salt Lake City in 1936 where she met and married Myrl C. Clegg. Together they had three daughters and later divorced but remained friends. She met Jack Frye in Brigham City, Utah and they were married in the Logan Temple on April 11, 1950. They had one daughter. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and lived in the Brigham City 8th Ward for over 50 years. She worked in both the ward and stake primary organizations. In her later years, she worked at the community center and served as an officer in the Spike Club for six years. Surviving are four daughters, Sandra Lee Vyvlecka, Pleasanton, TX; Dianne Clegg, Salt Lake City, UT; Dixie Seber, Corinne, UT; Marilyn Gold, West Allis, WI; and one step son William Frye, Brigham City UT. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband William J. Frye; one step son, Glenn H. Frye; and five brothers and three sisters, Emma Kimber, Roy Jesse Barlow, Melvin Barlow, Joseph Lester Barlow, Francis (Frank) Barlow, Adella Bigham, Louise Ballingham, and Sidney Raymond Barlow. The family wishes to express their heart felt gratitude to Chet and Ruth Ann Worthen, Dr. Lynn Beard and the staff at Brigham Nursing and Rehabilition Center for their help and support. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 28, 2005, at 11:30 AM in the Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City, UT. There will be a viewing from 10:00 to 11:15 AM at the Funeral Chapel on Thursday. Interment will be at the Brigham City Cemetery.
