Services will be in Yeager Chapel at 10:00 A.M. and internment will follow in the Quemado Valley Cemetery under the direction of Yeager Barrera Mortuary.
Mrs. Slaughter was born July 5, 1913 in Mitchell County, Texas and resided in Quemado at the time of her death. She married Clyde C. Slaughter November 25, 1933 in Roscoe, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1986.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Clyde Slaughter of Eagle Pass, and Michael Byron Slaughter of San Antonio, Texas; two daughters, Lynda Jane Case of Quemado and Anna Lee Smith of Del Rio; four brothers, Olan Lee of Loraine, Aldin Lee of Roswell, New Mexico, Raymond Lee of Fairview, Oklahoma and Elvis Lee of Nashville, Arkansas; two sisters, Ruth Elizabeth Turnbow of Quemado, Texas and Modelle Brookshire of Brownsboro, Texas; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
