Sarah Eleanor Mammen was born in Delavan to Richard W. and Phoebe Trollope Foster.
She married Theodore J. Mammen on Aug. 18, 1928, in Pekin. He died June 18, 1988. One son Kenneth Gail Mammem, two brothers, one sister and two great-grandchildren also preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Jerry and William; three daughters, Mrs. Carol (Dale) Blaum and Mrs. Dennis (Chris) Bluhm and Karen Taylor; one nephew,Richard MacDonald; one niece, Phyllis McPheeters, both of whom she raised; seventeen grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren.
