In his will it states that everything will go to his wife Eliza. Upon her death, it goes to Mary Ellen James, who was raising, BUT only if she had taken care of Eliza before she died and married a good man. Otherwise, everything went to the Christian Church at Brownsburg. The will is dated 3-5-1870.

Note: He was married to Elizabeth Ann Surber Nov. 23, 1843 in Hendricks County. Frederick is buried within the family plot. He also has a foot stone and there is another undentified foot stone next to his.
