Some info taken from his obituary: Norman Carl Nelson IV brought his light to the world on June 11, 2003. Born to Ronyee Cooper and Norman Nelson III. his heart was unique even from the beginning. "Lil Norman", as he was affectionately called, epitomized what it means to have a strong spirit. Norman came in fighting for his life and taught those who loved him so many lessons through it. As a young child Lil' Norman was adventurous and playful. He grew into a lovable jokester that would keep you honest with his attention to detail and sharp memory. Impressing Norman was the goal of all those who understood his superior sense of style and swag. Norman was witty, charming, enterprising and had an interest in the magic of magicians. A hip-hop pop culturalist, he'd be up on everything. Norman enjoyed camping, basketball, socializing with friends, riding his ATV, watching movies, laughing and making others laugh. What Norman loved above all, spending time with his entire family. He loved everybody in his huge family equally. Lil Norman is survived by his parent's Ronyee Cooper and Norman Nelson III, his sister and best friend Joyce, his two little brother's Aiden and Ethan, his great grandmother Leona Nelson, his grandparent's Norman and Norida "Chickee" Nelson, Jr., and Judy and George Finnikin. "Forever 16" Written by Aunty Nique and Cousin Noralia

When you came into our family, there was no greater joy.
Norman Carl Nelson the 4th, a precious baby boy.
Despite the obsticales in your way, you fought with courage day after day.
No one could imagine the pain you were feeling, we prayed for you to get better, we prayed for you healing.
You had your very own type of style, from your fro to your glasses and contagious smile.
You loved your family and your family loved you, that's why they didn't believe this to be true.
Memories of you we will hold onto forever. As we keep you in our hearts with every endeavor.
Through all our success and future demands, we'll do in your honor, for Lil Norman.
Losing you May 21st, was a day for all unseen, you closed your eyes to get some rest and stayed forever sixteen.

Cause of death: His heart gave out
His ashes were given to family
