A visitation and gathering of remembrance for A. D. "Bake" Blosser, 77, Williamstown, will be from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Barnett Funeral Home, Oskaloosa. Graveside services with military honors will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Underwood Cemetery, east of Williamstown.

Mr. Blosser died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2002, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

He was born Oct. 14, 1925, in Kelso, the son of Charles Homer and Nellie (Allen) Blosser. He moved in 1968 from Council Grove to the Williamstown community.

Mr. Blosser was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II and construction superintendent for Hamm's Quarries and Construction Co. in Perry. He retired in 1990 after 26 years with Hamm's.

He was a member of Perry American Legion Post No. 142, Operator's Union Local No. 101 in Topeka and Billtown Cafe Coffee Group.

He married Delores A. Sisson on May 25, 1949, in Kansas City, Kan. She died Nov. 12, 1996.

Survivors include three sons, Mike, Oskaloosa, and Pat and Tim, both of Perry; a daughter, Suzie Blosser, Valley Falls; two brothers, Charlie, Council Grove, and Bill, Wilsey; two sisters, Marie Bowlan, Enid, Okla., and Stella Mae Rodiger, White City; and eight grandchildren.
