MRS. NELLIE F. FOSTER
Mrs. Nellie F. Foster, 81, died at 3:15 p.m. Thursday at 416 West Third street, where she had lived and operated a nursing home.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Fairbanks chapel. Burial will be in the Nichols cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home starting at 7 tonight.
Mrs. Foster, the daughter of Marien and Rhoena Smith Renshaw, was born at State Center Sept. 10, 1880. She was married March 2, 1904, to Winford Foster. He died in 1940.
Surviving are a son, Norman Foster, Stoughton, Mass.; a daughter, Mrs. Charles Schnier, Illinois City, Ill.; two sisters, Miss Rena Renshaw, Muscatine, and Mrs. Mary Bausch, Marion; four brothers, Clarence Renshaw, Rapid city, S. D., John Renshaw, Ottumwa, Marien Renshaw, Canaan, Conn., and Ralph Renshaw, Cedar Rapids, five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
A daughter, two sisters and a brother preceded her in death.
