Loretta went to meet her Lord and Savior December 18, 2002. She entered this world May 30, 1919, in Couch, MO. She was the last surviving child of Daniel Boone and Rebecca Elizabeth (Cater) Wall. She married Jim W. Webb December 17, 1938.

Loretta and husband, Jim came to California in 1943. They settled in Shafter and she helped irrigate, graded potatoes, and picked cotton. In 1953 she became a meat wrapper for Safeway and was a member of United Food and Commercial Workers Local 1036. She retired in 1975. She and Jim traveled in their motor home until health prevented traveling, but insisted on keeping the motor home because she would feel like going again.

Loretta attended Calvary Bible Church and was an active member of Silver Saints and Prime Timers until health prevented her from attending.

Loretta was preceded in death by husband, Jim, her parents, four brothers and a sister. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Hutchison and husband, David; son, James R. Webb and wife, Evelyn of Bakersfield. Five grandchildren, Karen and Matt Rummelsburg; Dana Hutchison; David Hutchison of Bakersfield; Brian and Amy Webb of Virginia; Brent and Angie Webb of Colorado; 6 great-grancdhildren; Jeff, Jason and Kelley Rummelsburg; Lucy, Sam and Joe Webb; sister-in-law, Dollie Wall; two Godchildren Rodney Napier and Becky Edwards; and many nieces and nephews and friends.

Visitation is Sunday, December 22, from Noon to 5:00 p.m., at Mish Funeral Home. Funeral service is Monday, December 23, at 10:00 a.m., at Mish Funeral Home, interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart Association or the Alzheimers Association.
