William Herman Aughe of Fairbury, Nebr., passed away at his home Sunday, November 18, 1951, at the age of 70 years, 4 months and 9 days.
Born at Ashland, Nebr., July 9, 1881, he married Nancy E. Riddle on September 22, 1900 at Fairbury. To them were born one daughter, Mrs. Alva Juhl of St. Francis, Kansas, and six sons, Wilbur of Marysville, Calif., Tom of Redding, Calif., Ernest of Flanigan, Nevada, Charles of St. Francis, Kansas, Carl of Lincoln, and William Vern, who preceded his father in death November 5, 1950. Mrs. Aughe passed away November 20, 1947 at Reynolds.
He moved to Eckley, Colo., where he homesteaded from 1915-1926. In 1926 he moved to Reynolds, Nebr., where he established his home and for the past 25 years, has lived in this vicinity.
On March 8, 1949 he married Bertha Fox of Fairbury.
Mr. Aughe joined the Foursquare church on October 24, 1948.
Surviving are his wife and five children.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Traum's chapel with Rev. Millard Parrish, pastor of the Foursquare church, officiating. Burial was in the Fairbury cemetery.
