EVANS, Lucille, born December 1, 1929, Mounds, Illinois. Passed away July 29, 2007, in Las Vegas, Nev. She is survived by her children, Celia Thomas and husband Don Thomas of Las Vegas, Nev., Joe Evans and wife Rebecca Evans of Palmdale, Calif., her brother, Raymond Jones of San Diego, Calif., her sister, Verna Fisher of Simi Valley, Calif., and grandchildren, Christina Thomas, Joseph Thomas, and Robert Evans. She has lived and worked in the Antelope Valley for many, many years, working for Lockheed and the Palmdale School District. She was the best mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, great aunt, and friend anyone could have ever wanted. She has left such an impact on so many life's that it would be impossible to ever forget Lucille. A visitation service will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, August 3, 2007, at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary, Palmdale, Calif.
