CHICKASHA - Funeral services for Mrs. Mary. B. Wood, 66, a former Shawnee resident now of Chickasha are set for 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Yoakum Memory Chapel, Purcell.
Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Shawnee.
Mrs. Wood died Monday in a Chickasha nursing home. She was born in Morrilton, Ark., and taught school there before moving to Shawnee in 1928.
She and Maxey R. Wood were married in 1929 at Tecumseh and moved to Midwest City in 1945 and then to Lexington, Okla., in 1946.
Mrs. Wood worked at Tinker Field for 18 years before moving to Chickasha. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Patricia M. Stewart, Chickasha; a son, Phillip R. Wood, Anchorage, Alaska; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and five brothers and sister-in-law, Mrs. Pearl Wood, 523 N. Ione; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wood, 407 N. Pottenger; and Mr. and Mrs. Annas Picer, 209 S. Eden.
