Sculptor. Born in 1848, Edwin R. Mullins was the son of Edward Mullins, a Solicitor, and his wife Elizabeth, formerly Baker. He attended Louth Grammar School and Marlborough College before studying sculpture at the Lambeth School of Art and the Royal Academy. After a period of study in Munich, he returned to London and frequently exhibited his sculptures at the Royal Academy and other leading galleries. His works of portrait busts, figures, and statues included Robin Goodfellow, The Love Token, Sisters, and Boy with a Top. Several prominent London buildings were embellished by his carvings, panels, and other decorative work. Edwin married Alice Pelton in 1884 and had three sons and one daughter. He died at Walberswick, Suffolk, in 1907. After cremation at Golder's Green, his ashes were interred in Hendon Cemetery.
