ASHEBORO - Emilie Katherine Riehm Bulla, 85, of 2883 Old Lexington Road, Asheboro, died Tuesday, April 27, 2004, at her home.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Pugh Funeral Home, Asheboro, with the Rev. Michael W. Adams officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.

She was a native of Randolph County, the widow of William Franklin Bulla and she attended Flora McDonald College in Red Springs. She retired from the Randolph County Schools as secretary with Farmer Elementary School. She was a member of Charlotte United Methodist Church.

Surviving are daughter, Jane B. Cole of Asheboro; son, Bill Bulla Jr. of Gibsonville; sister, Elinor Thomas of Greensboro; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

The family will be at the funeral home 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday, other times at the home.
