Died Dec. 5, 1960 at 5:30 a.m. at her resident in Denham Springs. Age 44, she was a native of Denham Springs. Body to be at Seale Funeral Home. Religious services at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, 1960, by Rev. J. F, Arceneaux. She is survived by her husband, Lester Hood of Denham Springs; her mother, Mrs. Mamie LeBlanc of Baton Rouge; one son, Robert Earl Monk, USMC, Twenty-nine Palms, California; two daughters, Miss Berta M. Hood and Miss Margaret Hood, both of Denham Springs; three sisters, Mrs. Thelma Aime, Denham Springs, Mrs. Bessie Sanchez, Baton Rouge, Mrs. Bobby Underwood, Mobile Alabama; a half-sister, Mrs. M. K. Hardy, Baton Rouge; two brothers, Claude Allen, Jackson, Mississippi and J. C. Allen, Miami Springs, Florida.
