Mrs Mary Elizabeth Huey, daughter of Daniel and Barbara Swint was born July 10, 1843, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania and died March 23, 1902 after suffering for one year with cancer and heart trouble which she bore with the greatest of patience til death received her suffering. Her age was 59 years and 8 months and 13 days. In 1845 she with her parents came to Miami county, uniting in marriage with Jonas Huey Dec 5, 1867.
In 1898 they came to Fulton County where they have resided near Rochester, She was a member of the Evangelical Church, was a truthful, gentle obedient wife, and a mother, and a friend to all whom she met. Mother, father, 2 sisters and 2 brothers proceeded her in to the spiritual world.
She leaves eight children, 7 grandchildren, husband, 3 brothers, one sister and a host of friends to mourn her departure
