Mrs. Tilden Dies
Funeral Services to Be Held Saturday Morning
Mrs. Fred Tilden, 77, died at her home, 415 Clark Avenue, late yesterday afternoon following a two weeks illness from heart trouble. Although she had been ill for several weeks, Mrs. Tilden was able to be up and about yesterday, and death came unexpectedly.
Mrs. Tilden is survived by her husband, Fred C. Tilden; three sons, Dr. Will Tilden of Stanwood; Dr. Charles Tilden of Kalona; Dr. Julius Tilden of Charles City; and two daughters, Mrs. E. Macy and Mrs. Agnes Tilden Poole, both of Ames. Dr. Charles Tilden was formerly connected to the hospital at Iowa State University. Funeral services will be held from the Congregational Church January 26, Saturday morning at 10:30 with the Rev. H.K. Hawley in charge.
