Glenn Clayton Robinson, son of James Taylor Robinson and Cordie "Pearl" Robinson was born May 30, 1931 in Des Moines, Iowa. He first married Dorothy Marsh on November 8, 1952 in Fairfield, Iowa. And with her, he had five children: James Scott Robinson, Mark Raymond Robinson, Robbie Dean Robinson, and Caryl Ann Robinson. He later on Married Ellen Kathryn Van Doren on September 7, 1968 in Rock Island, Illinois. He had two children from this marriage: Glen Taylor Robinson and Jennene Kay Robinson he also adopted Ronnie Gene Robinson from Ellen's first marriage. He served in the Korean army, and loved fishing. He died November 12, 2009 from colon cancer in Lowell, Arkansas at the age of 78. He was cremated, and his ashes were scattered at his favorite fishing spot on Beaver Lake.

Lowell- Glenn Clayton Robinson, 78, of Lowell died Nov. 12, 2009, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale after a two-year stuggle with cancer. He was born May 30, 1931, in Des Moines, Iowa, to James T. and "Pearl" Cordie Robinson. He served in the Army during the Korean War and was an avid bass fisherman.

Survivors include five children, Jennene Snow and husband Kent, Glen Robinson and wife Pamela, all of Springdale, Mark Robinson, Robbie Robinson, Jim Robinson and Carol Ann Robinson; friend and former wife, Ellen Robinson; two sisters, Betty Gohn of Iowa, Shirley Vigar of Arizona; and three grandchildren, Joey, Luke, and Faith Snow, all of Springdale.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today, Nov. 16, at Heritage Funeral Home in Springdale. Cremation will follow.
