C. MILLER, 87, SUCCUMBS AT HOME OF NIECE
Crawford Miller, age 87 years died Sunday at the home of his niece, Mrs. Effie Coyer, on South Locust St. He had been in ill health since mMarch, suffering infirmites due to old age.
Mr. Miller was born in Monroe County, Ohio on March 25, 1851, the eldest of nine children born to Abraham and Eliza Miller. He came with his parents to Hebron at the age of twenty years but has lived for many years in the vincinity of Valparaiso.
He was a member of the First Christian church of this city and a life member of the Sons of Union Veterans Lodge. Mr. Miller never married and is the lasr member of his family to depart this life.
He is survived by two nieces and one nephew living in Michigan and two nieces and two nephews residing in Valparaiso.
Memorial services will be held at the LePell Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with interment in Maplewood Cemetery.
