Stanley Ray "Badger" Bane, 68, of Parrott, died Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at his home. He was preceded in death by a son, Stanley Wayne Bane; his parents, Arthur and Verland Bane; a sister, Ellen Bane; and a brother, George (Bubby) Bane. Surviving are his wife, three sons, four sisters, along with five grandchildren. Also surviving is a special daughter, several nieces and nephews; and numerous fishing buddies and many friends also survive. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2007 at The Parrott Church of God with the Rev. Eddie Dalton officiating. Interment will follow in Sifford Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2007 at The Parrott Church of God. DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford is handling the arrangements.
