Daisy attended Bethel School near Nelson and graduated from Nelson High School in 1930. She did substitute teaching at rural school district 85 near Nelson.
On July 30, 1936, she was united in marriage to Clarence Farver at Nelson, Nebraska. This union was blessed with three children - one son and two daughters. They lived and farmed near Nelson and Nora from 1936 until their retirement in 1977, at which time they moved to Nelson, Nebraska.
Daisy was a member of the Nora Methodist Church. served the Lord in many ways (NOTE: typed as written in newspaper). She has had continued fair health for several years. As a homemaker she always kept busy with family and friends. She loved sewing, quilt making, gardening and flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors are her husband Clarence of Nelson; a son, Jack Farver and his wife Tommie of Oklahoma; two daughters, Janet Larsen and her husband Leonard of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Carol Lynn Anderson and her husband Jerry of Deshler, Nebraska; three sisters, Opal Benedict and her husband Maurice of Bellwood, Nebraska, Arlene Roseboom of Columbus, Nebraska, and Ardis Dillman and her husband Herb of York, Nebraska; seven grandchildren, Monica Fuqua, Paul and Sheila Larsen, Gayle, Jo. D., Carrie and Jamyn Anderson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Monday, December 11, 1989, at 2:00 p.m. from the Klawitter-Price Funeral Home in Nelson, Nebraska, with Rev. Jerry Heyenberk officiating. Music was provided by Joe Ferebee singing "The Old Rugged Cross" and "One Day At A Time" with Dot Ferebee as organist and accompanist. Casketbearers were Gordon Farver, Herb Dillman, Alvin Anderson, Gilbert Adrian, Kenneth Hamel and Bill Lynch. Burial was in Nelson Cemetery near Nelson, Nebraska. Klawitter-Price Funeral Home in Nelson, Nebraska, was in charge of the arrangements.
