Jess Anderson, 81 years old - presently residing in Go-Ye Village in Tahlequah. Died Sat. Dec. 21, at Muskogee Regional Medical Center.
Services will be held Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. at Northeastern Christian Church with Rev. Tom Tucker and Rev. Larry Hatfield, with burial at The Nowata City Cemetery. Reed Culver Funeral Home is in charge.
He was born Feb. 27, 1904 in Florence, Kansas. He had worked for 39 years with Sinclair Oil & Gas in Seminole, Delaware & Drumright as a construction foreman.
He was a 32 degree Mason and was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
He is survived by his wife, Willie, of the home, three sons, Bob Anderson of Sand Springs, Jerry Anderson of Fresno, California, Larry Anderson of Perry, Okla., daughter, Kendra Rutledge of Greeley, Colorado, 2 sisters Francis Pittman of Pamona, Missouri and Alene Buff, Willow Springs, Missouri, 2 brothers Guy Anderson, Smithville, Missouri, and George Anderson of Jackson, Mississippi, 13 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
