AMARILLO - Funeral services for James Kelly True, 66, of 1300 W. 48th, were held Saturday at 4 p.m. in Southlawn Baptist Church.
Officiating was the Rev. James W. Read, pastor, with burial in Llano Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
True was dead on arrival Thursday at Northwest Texas Hospital from an apparent heart attack.
A retired baker, he worked at Dilley's Bakery in Borger for 20 years, then moving to Tendercrust in Amarillo. He had lived in Amarillo for seven years. He was born in Clarksville, and was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Lois; four sons, James David of 4419 S. Hayden, Douglas Kelly of 4205 S. Crockett; Mickey Gene of Wichita, Kan., and Fred Joe of Fyola, Mont.
Three sisters, Mrs. Pearl Rodgers of Hollis, Okla., Mrs. Lee Elder of Borger, and Mrs. Mary Hooks of Borger; a brother, Clifford of Sayer, Okla; 11 grandchildren, and his step-mother Mary Colwell, of Sayre, Okla.
