She was born in New York City, December 27, 1924, and lived in Greenwich, CT, before moving to Wallingford 32 years ago. During her lifetime she helped her husband build Thunder Mountain Ski Area, now known as Berkshire East. She was also an avid golfer and at one time was very involved with the Women's Golf League at Pilgrim Harbor. She loved traveling, her and her husband traveled all through Europe and the United States.
Besides her husband Arthur, she is survived by her son, Arthur Parker III and his wife Diane of Cheshire; and her two grandchildren whom she adored, Arthur (A.J.) Parker IV and Ashley Marie Parker. She was predeceased by her brother, Harry Hoppe.
Interment in Mount Hope Cemetery in New York will be private.
