WAINE EDDY

Waine Eddy, 86, of Tobacco Township, died Tuesday, April 30, following an illness of 3 months. Born at Duck Lake, Calhoun County, April 12, 1888, he was the son of Willis and Elta Cover Eddy. He came to Gladwin County in 1901, from Charlotte, with his parents. Mr. Eddy and the former Alta M. Ford were married in Saginaw November 10, 1915, and she preceded him in death June 15, 1966. He was a farmer until his retirement. Mr. Eddy was a member of the Edenville Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Surviving; are 2 daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Crosby and Mrs. Lily Mae Doane, both of Beaverton, a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Frances Eddy of Norwalk, Calif.; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. A son, Harold, died in 1972.

Services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home, in Beaverton, with Elder Delmar T. Burke officiating. Burial will be in Dale Cemetery.
